The Thesis is project based and aims to develop personal architectural interests and to situate the design research work within the context of current theory or material and environmental research. The programme aims and learning outcomes are the development of creativity and judgment, as well as to utilise knowledge already gained in practice.

The design part is portfolio and model based. It creatively extends on previous design work.

The written part in an A3 document. It has approximately 8 000 - 10 000 words and illustratates the project. In the first part, it elaborates on an independent theoretical subject, which forms an intellectual foundation for the student's main design. In the second part, the main design is described in theoretical terms and is illustrated with key images, maps and diagrams.

"LIGHT" which is the most precious in the world and presented from nature for us.

After the birth in the sun, it travels long time through the universe.

Light animates objects and discloses space in darkness by reflecting in our world until exhausting its whole energy.

After the disappearance in our eye, it transcends into our mind.

That is "Depth of Darkness"
